Event Description:
Meet the Congressional Candidates in NY18 & NY19 at the Chamber Breakfast Meeting on September 27, 2022 from 7:30 - 9:00 am. Featured will be Democrat Pat Ryan, running against Republican Orange County Assemblyman Colin Schmitt in the new 18th Congressional District. Republican Marc Molinaro will square off against Democrat Josh Riley, who won a Democratic primary on Aug. 23 in the revamped 19th Congressional District. (Riley was invited to participate but will not be in attendance due to a scheduling conflict.) Candidates will be given time to offer opening statements and answer questions from those in attendance. The League of Women Voters will be facilitating this Chamber Meet the Congressional Candidates event.
