Chamber Breakfast Meeting U.S. Congressman Pat Ryan

This Chamber Breakfast Meeting will be held at Diamond Mills Hotel & BLACKBARN Hudson Valley in Saugerties, from 7:30 - 9:00 am and will welcome U.S. Congressman Pat Ryan.

Congressman Ryan said he will offer details in his speech about his recently introduced legislation, the Affordability Agenda, which is an in-depth plan to bring down the cost of living for Hudson Valley families. Of particular concern, he said, is the high cost of groceries and prescription drugs. Congressman Ryan will also discuss the need to protect Social Security, make housing more affordable, and support our farmers. He has introduced in the house another bill, the Protecting Social Security Act, which will ensure that Social Security benefits cannot be cut, that seniors and families will continue to receive the benefits they are owed, and that every county in NY-18 has a Social Security office to serve the community.
