2024’s Summer Hoot lineup includes a wide range of genres from the upbeat jazz of Tuba Skinny straight from the streets of New Orleans, an astounding and diverse selection of singer/songwriters including Lake Street Dive’s Bridget Kearney, “You Were Meant For Me” Jewel-songwriting collaborator, Steve Poltz, and roots and folk music to include son jarocho, the music of Veracruz, Mexico.
In addition to live music on two stages on Ashokan’s Hoot Hill, the Hoot offers a wide range of programming for the entire family including: morning gong baths with Love Waves, all-day activities for children in the Kids Zone including daily kids’ parades, music workshops, blacksmithing demonstrations, garden walks with smoothie tastings, an instrument ‘petting zoo’, a yoga class, guided hikes to Ashokan’s historic Cathedral Falls, craft vendors selling locally hand-made goods, and an all-hours Jubilee Jam Tent where guests can make their own music all weekend long.
