\;The Ulster Chamber\, in partnership with Black History Month Kingston and \;Ulster County Tourism\, will host \;the \;2026 Ulster County Black Business Community Celebration \;on \;Thursday\, June 18\, 2026\, from \;4:30 - 8:00 pm. Everyone is invited to join \;the celebration as we honor Black business and community leaders.

New this year\, world-renowned human rights activist and anti-violence leader\, Erica Ford\, will be our guest speaker. \;Known globally as The Peace Doctor\, Erica Ford is a leader in Community Violence Intervention and Prevention. She is the founder and CEO of LIFE Camp\, Inc. and an architect for Anti-Gun Violence. She is widely recognized for creating New York City&rsquo\;s Crisis Management System. Her approach centers a simple truth: safety is not only the absence of violence\, but the presence of healing. Erica&rsquo\;s work has contributed to securing more than $5 billion in federal investment in Community Violence Prevention\, expanding programs into 33 cities\, and helping establish the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention in 2024.
